Art Road's Mission is that children throughout Southeastern Michigan have access to art instruction.  Currently, Art Road is providing art class to 1,270 students that lack art in their curriculum.  Our goal is to raise $308,000 to provide art class to 1,270 students for the 2016/2017 school year. Learn more about Art Road.

Art Road Detroit makes National Splash at the Denver Zoo!

November 25, 2016 to Mid-January 2017

Art Road's five Great Lakes Recycled fish sculptures traveling exhibition will be on display at the Denver Zoo!

Thank You to:

The Alliance for the Great Lakes for donating collected items from the beaches of the Great Lakes!
MRA experiential tours & equipment for donating the creation of five shipping crates for our fish sculptures!
FedEx for donating the shipping of our fish sculptures from Detroit to Denver and back!

Art Road Nonprofit is making a National Splash! Over 150 elementary school students from DPS and 25 volunteers have spent the last two months crating five fish sculptures, these sculptures are made with recycled materials and items collected from the shoreline of the Great Lakes.  Art Road was inspired by the "Washed Ashore" project and wanted to bring the message of recycling and water conservation to the children of Detroit.  These fish sculptures will be on display during the month of December at the Denver Zoo as part of their Zoo Lights event.
