Art Road provides special arts activity classes, including supplies and an instructor, at a minimal cost to elementary schools that lack art programs.
The classes are single or multi-day sessions that introduce children to the work of artists, provide historical perspective, and bring the entire experience into focus with hands-on creative arts projects such as painting, drawing, sculpture or mixed media.

Todd Patrick, artist and home designer has committed to helping Art Road Nonprofit by having this exclusive art show on May 10 , 2008 with part of the proceeds going directly to the art programs. Todd Patrick said,
"I grew up in Detroit and had art classes at Parkman Elementary School. My whole life is centered around creating. I can't imagine my life without a-r-t."
Todd Patrick has a confident, defined vision and paints with intense color applied directly to glass. Selected Todd Patrick artworks range in size and price for this exclusive one night show at Mezzanine on May 10, 2008 from 6pm-10pm. The artist will be available to discuss commissions.
Art Road is a great cause and Todd Patrick wanted to be a part in helping with something that has been a major part of his own life. He feels the need to help the schools that allowed him to experience art as a child.
This fall, Todd visited an Art Road class at Edison Elementary School in Detroit and helped teach the students how to paint on glass. The students inspired him to create this exhibit with the goal of raising funds for Art Road by donating a portion of the sales of the art from this premiere event.

The First Annual Art Road Masterpiece Golf Outing was held on June 17, 2005 at the Devil's Ridge Golf Club in Oxford, Michigan. The fabulous golf, continental breakfast, lunch, steak dinner and silent auction were enjoyed by all.
