Our Recycled Fish Sculptures will be on exhibition from April 22 to July 9, 2017.
They were created in fall of 2016 with recycled items and found objects from shorelines of the Great Lakes donated by
The Alliance for the Great Lakes. 150 elementary school students from the Charles Wright Academy of Arts & Science along with Todd Patrick of Todd Patrick Design (who was the Lead Designer and builder on the project), along with volunteers from The Michigan Glass Project, Juice Box Studio, and Kensington Woods High School Students.

We educated our art students about the Great Lakes, trash pollution in our lakes (and the effects), and about ways to pick up trash in their own school and neighborhood.  Art Road was inspired by Washed Ashore, an organization that creates art to save the sea with their sculptures made with trash that has washed ashore.
